Update 0.9.7: Finalization and Balance Changes


IPS-N Every
The Every and its gear haven't had to undergo any major changes, fortunately.  Most of the changes are to keep it in line with existing systems and to add clarity.

  • Explosive Spear Mod is now activated as a free action
  • Concussion Charges
    • Limited 3 >> Limited 2

SSC ADMIRAL
The Admiral's Offense Profile Effect and Defense Profile Level 6 were far too strong and rewarded it way too much for simply being a support/hacker. The numbers and effects were adjusted to balance it out while still feeling rewarding.

  • Offense Profile
    • Damage = Overdrive Die >> Damage = Half of Overdrive Die
  • Defense Profile
    • Overshield is now removed at the start of your next turn
    • Overdice Die = 6
      • Resistance to all Sources >> Explodes when Removed, dealing Damage and Knocking Back
  • Cleaving Edge
    • On-Hit Damage is now an Auto-Hit Attack (so it can crit and always applies weapon effects

SSC HERCULES
Minor balance changes to its systems, allowing them to be slotted into builds a bit easier. Blitz attack allowed for too many on-hit effects to be spread around, especially with the Plasma Odachi, so it lost a limited charge.

  • Guarded Stance
    • 3 SP >> 2 SP
  • Blitz Attack
    • Limited 3 >> Limited 2

HORUS DEVA
Likely the frame and license that changed the most this update, getting a whole new core power and adjusted damage to its weapons (that may have been in older editions but I just forgot to note them down.)

  • Mounts
    • Main + Heavy >> Flex + Heavy
  • Core Active
    • While in the Danger Zone, all ranged attacks gain +1 Blast or +1 Burst
    • While in the Danger Zone, all tech attacks deal burn on-hit equal to the heat they deal on-hit
    • While in the Danger Zone, it is pushed 2 spaces in any direction before attacking
  • Flare Projector
    • Heat 2 >> Heat 1
    • 2d6 Energy + 1 Heat >> 1d6+3 Energy + 1 Heat

HORUS SPHINX
Some small wording changes, and slightly adjusted how some systems work for ease of use.

  • Prismatic Mod
    • Activated as a Free Action
    • Echoes are places in spaces within Threat >> Placed in spaces adjacent to you or your Target
  • Hardlight Barrier
    • 2 Spaces High >> 3 Spaces High
    • Made placement rules more clear
  • Hardlight Brand
    • Lightspeed Dash now explicitly states it can be used any number of times per round.
      • Removes the Hardlight Mark from the triggering character to prevent double-dashing to the same character as Gorgon

HA YIFANG
Has mainly undergone some stat changes, as well as rewording and some spell checks.

  • Yifang Frame
    • Size 1 >> Size 2
    • Evasion 8 >> Evasion 6
    • E-Defense 6 >> E-Defense 8
    • Reworded Shaped Charges to be more clear about Line Direction.
    • Protean Grenade Launcher now activates the Grenade system to load it instead of simply expending a charge (sorry, you have to eat 1 Heat to load a Paracausal Charge into it)
