We're still in the early stages of development with PTI, so I'll keep the notes short :)

Chariot

The damage and knockback on Gunlance were too high for Loading alone to buy, and I didn't want to add any other pacers.  So it got a minor damage and knockback nerf.

  • Gunlance | Righteous Profile Nerf
    • 1d6+3 Kinetic + 1d6 Explosive >> 1d6+6 Explosive
    • Knockback 4 >> Knockback 3

The Fool

The Fool's Hardlight Gauntlet was an interesting topic of discussion today, almost turning into a primarily burn weapon.  However, after some discussion, there was some agreement that the Shield mode damage needed a buff to compensate for being Slowed.  I thought this was a neat idea, really putting emphasis on the "get away from me and my buddies" angle the weapon has.

The Fool's trait and core power also came up a lot, primarily with debates on how strong and "complex" the frame is.  I added an extra d6 to FREEDOM // CONFINEMENT, but I will likely not be changing much else.

  • Frame Trait | Freedom // Confinement Buff
    • Roll 2d6 at scene start >> Roll 3d6 at scene start
  • Core Power | Beginnings // Conclusions Clarification
    • Now allows you to activate abilities that trigger off of activating your core power as part of the reaction (e.g. Universal Compatibility).
  • Hardlight Bladed Gauntlet | Shield Mode Buff
    • 1d6 Kinetic + 1d6 Energy >> 1d6 Kinetic + 2d6 Energy
    • Gained RELIABLE 4

UPCOMING CHANGES

Between working on Lancer: Expanded Frames, making lots of Minecraft models, and looking for an IRL job lmao, I've been splitting my attention a lot.  I'm hoping I can get Expanded Frames art done soon so all I have to worry about is balance and playtesting and I can put my attention entirely in this new manufacturer (and the new LCP I'm also already working on lol).

Thanks for being patient with me while I get everything figured out.  In the meantime, uh... idk play more lancer lol

  • //GUIDED_HAND V2.6 Core Bonus allows for crits too easily with any amount of decent control, and stacked too well with other core bonuses.  Will be changes to a flat 19+ or 18+ Critical Hit range without conditions.
  • //UNWAVERING V5.7 Core Bonus is slightly underwhelming.  Will likely buff or rework.
  • Empress and Hierophant are still completely empty outside of placeholders, so I will start putting some systems in there soon.
    • Empress will have a lot of emphasis on soaking up tech attacks to it and generally redirecting attention to it, perhaps with some later LL weapons and systems that punish enemies for attacking allies altogether.
    • Hierophant will likely revolve around granting additional accuracy with its traits, and will have a lot of limited Tech Action buffs.  Maybe even an LL3 AI that just give an ally a full on Battle Blessing?
